IP is removed after VM reboot / VM tools upgrade


1. If IP is removed, Open the VM via console.
2. Open command prompt (run as admin) -> set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
3. Cmd prompmt -> start devmgmt.msc
4. Device manager will open
5. Goto network adapter and delete the hidden adapter
Note: if you cannot find hidden adapter. Click ‘View’ from menu -> Enable ‘Show hidden devices’
6. Goto control panel -> network and sharing center
7. Change adapter settings -> Assign IP address to the adpater
